The “Celebrate Yourself” tee has a story to tell, as will each of our future collections. You aren’t just wearing a garment when you wear a Concert Chick tee. Not only are you a hot chick with some cool stuff on, you become part of the story and the Concert Chick revolution. Here’s the scoop behind the “Celebrate Yourself” tee besides its neckline.
The Short Story:
The “Celebrate Yourself” collection is bubbly, sparkly, meaningful, and all about celebrating your fabulous self. The design was conceived in France, finalized in Los Angeles, and produced in the USA on a 100% organic tee made in Thailand. And there’s a smudge of London and India if you include some of the design elements. It’s all about a global community these days, and Concert Chick is all over it. This must-have fitted tee runs sorta small, but it’s stretchy and intended to simulate a snug hug. It is to be washed with love and care in cold water, and tumble dried on low heat.
The design palette includes sage green, ocean blue, sunny yellow, stimulating orange, and some black for some bold energy, all dyed into the weave of an Earth Natural super-soft tee. We even added a bit of bronze foil metallic on the bottle neck for good measure. And, let’s not forget the sparkles! The Celebrate Yourself tee has been subtly Swarovski-crystallized.
We believe that all chicks rock no matter what size they are, so we scrapped the traditional size designations in favor of these adjectives, all of which describe a Concert Chick: Stunning, Magnificent, Lovely, and X-Luxe. And there is no annoying tag to tuck in–the label is printed inside the tee.
The Whole Story:

Every aspect of the design is part of the story. There are 11 mantra swirls, 11 stars, 11 music notes, and 11 crystals. Why 11? Well, this number possesses the qualities of intuition, spirituality, honesty, and inspiration. It is the number of the light within us all. The mantras are positive expressions and guiding principles on how to be your best Concert Chick self. The music notes are reminders to tune in to tones that rock your soul and to tune out the chatter in your mind. The stars are simply, yet meaningfully, symbols of your light, brilliance, and awesome energy. Stars also serve to remind us to appreciate the big picture. When you look into a clear sky full of sparkly stars, don’t you tingle? We are all part of an amazing universe. The crystals are hand-placed randomly, so no two tees are alike…just like no one on this planet is like you.
The abundant season of Spring was selected as the right time to release the inaugural tee, as Springtime marks new beginnings. That’s why there is a butterfly in the design. A wonderful metamorphosis occurs in each of us as the seasons pass. From the caterpillar phase of the holidays, to the introspective time of winter in the cocoon, emerges the butterfly in the next stage of our lives.
The champagne bottle screams CELEBRATION like not many objects can. There is so much to be happy and cheer about. It’s our toast to you for being who you are, for being a valuable part of the universe’s plan. Celebrate yourself!
Now about the little chick on the shoulder (unlike a “chip on your shoulder”, this is a very good thing!). Rox, the original Concert Chick, makes her debut into the material world perched on the bottle’s cork. On your shoulder she will stay from this day forward, reminding you that you rock just as you are, right now. Rox’s wings are back, she’s ready to soar, her heart is open. Fearless! She’s happy…for you (and about the fact that she’s wearing some fabulous shoes!).
Even the colors in the design are on purpose, just as we should live our lives: On purpose and colorfully. Yellow is all about sunshine, creativity, imagination, and optimism. Naturally, it’s the color of the chick. Orange resonates warmth and stimulates enthusiasm. Blue represents the water, sky, loyalty, patience, and hope. Green means nature, balance, rebirth, abundance, and growth. And Black stands for being mysterious, sexy, and sophisticated. Besides, it’s so very rock and roll.
